Please remember that there are many colloqualisms and cultural concepts that have no literal translation from one language to another,  and that often, the beauty, emotion, and meaning of words is lost through translation.  I sometimes provide side notes and background information to try to give a more accurate description.  In any case, I think it's wonderful when people (especially dancers) take an interest in the language and art of cultures that are not native to them.
